NYE 2026: Drone shows to light up Dubai Frame alongside fireworks for the first time
Families to enjoy extended park hours for safe celebrations
DUBAI is gearing up for a spectacular welcome to New Year 2026, with celebrations set to light up the emirate like never before.
Among the highlights, the iconic Dubai Frame will host drone shows for the first time alongside its annual fireworks display, offering a fresh visual treat for residents and visitors.
Engineer Adel Al Marzooqi, CEO of the Waste and Sewerage Agency at Dubai Municipality, confirmed that the Dubai Frame event is part of a broader celebration featuring fireworks at 40 locations across the city, with a total of 48 shows planned for the evening. The drone shows are expected to complement the fireworks, creating a unique multimedia experience.
Family-friendly measures
To ensure safe and comfortable celebrations, Dubai Municipality has designated public beaches exclusively for families on New Year’s Eve. Fourteen public parks will extend operating hours until 1am, allowing families to enjoy the festivities in secure and convenient environments.
The comprehensive readiness plan also covers recreational facilities, waste management, public health, food safety, and crowd control, implemented in coordination with Dubai Police, the Roads and Transport Authority, and the Dubai Resilience Centre.
NYE fireworks locations
Fireworks will illuminate Dubai’s most famous landmarks, including Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Creek Harbour, Bluewaters, Burj Al Arab, Expo City Dubai, Global Village, Atlantis The Palm, and Palm Jebel Ali. Additional displays will be held at Dubai Frame, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Topgolf Dubai, and Trump International Golf Club.
